I was born in small town in northern Maine. I am an only child. My parents separated when I was only eighteen months old. I spent time at both of my parents houses growing up to ensure that I had a viable relationship with each parent. I came out when I was a freshman in high school. Life did not really change for me; I was told that everyone already knew! After high school I grew tired of being one of the only gay people I knew, so I moved to Boston to start college. I started working in the communication industry. As much as I loved my family, I grabbed Matty and we moved south for a whole new life (we’re not together). It’s been an amazing journey and we haven’t regretted the move for a moment.

I have a great group of people that keep me focused and push me along. I would not be where or who I am today without them.
